The Ergo baby carrier is a soft structured carrier. Your child can be carried on your front or back in this baby sling. It is ergonomically designed to support the weight of your child so that their weight is evenly distributed on your body. Much of the weight is transfered to your hips and evenly spread across both shoulders. The baby is fully supported through their thighs, bottom and back. We recommend this baby carrier for babies 4 months to 4 years. Newborns can be carried in the Ergo with the addition of the Infant Insert. The waist belt circumference goes from 25" to 43" but you can extend the waist belt 8 inches more by using a waist extender . Love Ergo!I have received the ERGO carrier yesterday. I couldn't wait to try it on, and I love it! It is so comfortable. She weights about 15lb, and getting heavier on my arms to carry her for a long time. But with this ERGO, she felt much lighter, almost like the time she was still inside of me. It's amazing. My daughter loves it too. She fell asleep as soon as I put her in this carrier. This also will be a great help especially for someone like me, who has a really bad back pain. I'm very confident about trip to Japan. It is going to be a long flight, but ERGO will make it easier for us. Thanks again.
